Daily Bible Podcast Day 166 – 1 Kings 16, 2 Chronicles 15-16, Colossians 1

April 15, 2013 in Podcasts by Nathan

“Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation-” ~Colossians 1:21-22

Paul is reminding the Colossians, and us, that prior to Jesus’ sacrifice, our sin separated us from God.

Sometimes I forget that whatever my past and whatever I am currently struggling with or will struggle with in the future, Jesus’ sacrifice will present me blameless before God.

Father, thank You for sending Your son to pay the penalty for my sin. Thank You that I now bear none of the blame for my failings. Help me to grow beyond my struggles and to remember that nothing can now separate me from Your love that is in Jesus Christ.
