Scripture:
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” ~Ephesians 3:16-19

Observation:
Paul is praying that the Ephesians (and indeed all other believers) be filled with faith, knowledge, and power from God.

Application:
I need this faith and power. I haven’t done so good a job of dealing with my own issues; I need the power of God to transform me, and I want to know the fullness of God’s love and I want to see God’s power share that with others who don’t presently know Him.

Prayer:
Father, Your power is what I need most. I am powerless to conquer my own flesh. I want to see Your power at work in my life and the lives of others. Where, God, is Your power? It seems so absent from the church today. Fill us again. Show us the fullness of Your love and help us to live in Your power.
