Scripture:
“Jesus replied, ‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.'” ~Matthew 21:21-22

Observation:
Jesus says have faith and don’t doubt. He gives a (seemingly) preposterous example of what faith can do. Anything we ask in prayer will be received.

Application:
I wish it were easy to not doubt. I don’t want to move a mountain, just the mountain that my heart seems to be. How do I believe without doubting? I don’t seem to be able to do so much of the time.

Prayer:
Father, I don’t want to create some huge spectacle with my faith, like throwing a mountain into the sea. I want my faith to move my heart away from my sin and closer to You. Yet I often doubt if even this is possible. All I know to do is ask Your Spirit for more faith. I believe, Lord, help my unbelief.
