Scripture:
“Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.” ~Psalm 9:10

Observation:
David is rejoicing in the ruin of his enemies and in God’s righteousness, fairness, and judgement.

Application:
It is hard to trust God sometimes. Especially when things aren’t going as well as we think they should. We’ve had a year like that. But David tells us that those who seek God are never forgotten or left alone. I certainly need to do a better job of seeking God, and I can only pray that will help my trust of Him.

Prayer:
Father, I want to trust You, but it is hard sometimes. There is so much injustice. The wicked prosper while the good hurt. I will continue to seek You, even when angry or unsure. Keep your promise and don’t forget about me.
