Scripture:
“Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.” ~Psalm 37:7-9

Observation:
David tells us that those who do evil and succeed in their schemes will be destroyed in time. We are to be patient. God has many enemies, but they will all be destroyed.

Application:
I wish I had more faith about this. I feel like our world is full so evil and wickedness and frankly I’m angry and anxious about a lot of things lately. Even people who are supposed to be Christians seem so gullible, allowing bad men to have their way. So may things in this world are just wrong, but I need to surrender my heart and mind to God’s timing.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, calm my heart. Help me to have the Father’s perspective. I know that the evil done in the here and now is as much against You as it is against people. Spirit, help me to be calm about the things I should be and angry about the things I should be, if I am to be angry at all. Show me what to do and I will do my best to listen.
