Scripture:
“There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them, and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them.” ~Acts 18:2-3

Observation:
Paul worked while he was in Corinth and likely made a living while there. He was not a full-time “preacher” during this time.

Application:
From time to time I am employed as a worship leader. I’m a little embarrassed to say that I am more likely to be ministering on a weekly basis if I am employed than if I am not. I need to be offering my gifts to God, even when I’m not being paid.

Prayer:
God, show me where you would have me be in ministry. If I’m paid, great. If not, that’s fine too. Just show me where you would have me.
