Scripture:
“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.” ~Hebrews 6:10-12

Observation:
Being diligent consists in showing love toward and helping people. There are rewards in store for those who do so.

Application:
I am not always diligent in showing love or offering help. The worries of life and my busyness often distract me from what I should be doing.

Prayer:
Father, please give me more assurance whether what I am doing is enough. I serve You and Your people, but do I serve You and Your people enough? I will look for more opportunities, please help me to see what You would have me do.
