Scripture:
“One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.” ~Romans 14:5-6

Observation:
Paul is talking about the Sabbath and there are those who still believe that Sunday is a special day for dressing up and “giving your best” to God. Others believe that every day is to treated equally; that every day is the right day to give your best to God.

Application:
I guess this means I have to stop giving the “Sunday best” crowd a hard time. As long as it is done with the right heart, it is okay.

Prayer:
Father, help me to not be judgmental of those who believe differently than I do. Help me to show them grace and not be a stumbling block to them if their faith is weaker. May I always be edifying to the body, even when I think I know a better way.
