Scripture:
“Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.” ~2 Corinthians 3:12

Observation:
Paul is speaking about the hope of the surpassing glory of the “ministry of the Spirit”, or the new covenant. What always strikes me about Paul and many of the early Christians is how unafraid they seemed to be, even in the face of great danger to themselves.

Application:
Paul was bold in the face of mortal danger, surely I can be bold when faced with mere complaining.

Prayer:
Father, give me the boldness of one who has great faith and hope in the glory to come. Guide that boldness with wisdom, because I don’t want to cause needless offense, but my Your truth come from my mouth without hesitation, no matter the reactions of others.
